About Us
Starview Sportsmen's Association was organized in 1948 by 21 sportsmen from East Manchester Twp., York County, PA. Their objective was to promote hunting and fishing activities and promote conservation. Their first meetings were held in a one-room school house in the village of Starview. In 1953 they brought the Jerusalem school building which was used as their headquarters until 1965 when they purchased their present property. In August 1991, a fire destroyed the original barn and clubhouse building on the present property. The new clubhouse and storage building was under construction in late 1991 and completed in early 1992. Since then Starview Sportsmen's Association has increased membership to 1000 members and continues to serve the sportsmen with varied activities.
